Oat flakes are perfect for breakfast cereals, porridge, cookies, and cakes, as well as a topping or an ingredient in baked goods and desserts.
For hot porridge:
Bring 150 ml of water or milk to a boil, add 50 g of oat flakes, and cook over low heat for 1 minute. Remove from heat, cover, and let stand for 2 minutes.
No-cook method:
Pour 150 ml of boiling water or milk over 50 g of oat flakes, cover, and let the mixture sit for 3 minutes.
