Cooked amaranth is ideal for breads, salads, and soups.
Rinse thoroughly the product. Combine 1 part amaranth with 3 parts water and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat, cover, and simmer for approximately 30 minutes, or until the water has been absorbed. Remove from the heat and let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
Consume after cooking.
